With so much information out there, how does one know what is reliable and trustworthy?  One way is to ask a librarian.  🙂

I was a classroom teacher for a number of years who became tired of teaching for tests.  I went back to school to obtain a second graduate degree in Library Science.   I currently work in a New York City public high school as their School Library Media  Specialist.

My goal with this blog is to provide information and resources for my peers, fellow educators, friends, family, parents…. well, anyone who wants to know more about finding resources they can trust. 😉

Some days the information provided will be specific to teachers.  On other days, you will find links that can help you at home.  Of course, many of these items can be used both at work and at home.

If there is an area you are curious about I have not addressed, please send me an e-mail and I will do my best to help you find an answer.

Happy discovering and I hope you have a wonderful day 🙂
